The Welding course at Perryville Area Career and Technology Center is designed to teach the students how to do several different types of welding. We strive to make each student capable of doing any type of welding including: Oxy-Fuel, MIG (wire feed), TIG (gtaw), and Stick (smaw) Welding. The students can do projects in class to train them how to do fabrication ( match angles, square parts up, etc.) This class works with mathematics to figure angles, how to read a tape measure, adding and subtracting fractions, figuring cubic capacities and other math problems. Mr. Johns pushes each student to be the best they can be.
