The Perry County School District #32 is dedicated to providing a safe learning environment for every child. We are conscientiously taking steps to ensure that this is possible. There are many safety improvements that have already been made. Several of our buildings have been equipped with security entrances, we have a resource officer, Officer Matt Schamburg, and we have upgraded our fire alarms throughout many of the buildings. Within the next week, our 5th -12th graders will receive or have received a student identification badge and lanyard. These items are to be worn and visible in the upper torso area, at all times. If a student neglects to adorn these, they will have another badge and lanyard provided to them. Any cost affiliated with this replacement will be charged to the individual student account.
