This is my sixth year as Assistant Superintendent and my seventeenth year in education. Before education I worked in several industries or businesses, e.g. banking, medical and manufacturing. My education career started as a fifth grade teacher in the Potosi R-III School District, then as an eighth grade teacher in Dunklin R-V School District, moving from there to be elementary principal in the Arcadia Valley R-II School District.

During my time in education I have furthered my own education completing my Specialist’s degree while at AV R-II. One of these days I would like to work on a Doctorate, but that may be down the road.  My personal educational goals are based on what will help me do my job in providing the best education for our children.

My wife and I enjoy living in this beautiful city. Our neighbors are very friendly and keep their places in tip top shape. Perryville and Perry County are beautiful places for families, raising children and putting down roots.
