I am from Perry County and lived here my entire life. I am a graduate of Perryville High School in 1985 and Southeast Missouri State University in 1991. I completed my Masters Degree from Webster University and Administration degree from Southeast Missouri State University.

 

This is my 22nd year in the district, I spent the first 10 years as a middle school teacher in the fifth and sixth grade. The last 12 years in the high school as the Athletic Director and Assistant Principal. I have coached many different sports in the district; football, basketball, track, golf, baseball, and softball.

 

I am married to Jill Steffens the owner of M&M Kids Kampus and we are proud parents of three children. Marcus and Madaline are sophomores and Trent is a eightth grader all are enrolled at Perry County School District #32.
