Mrs. Buchheit's First Grade Supply List

2013-2014

*Below is the list that is given to each student in their welcome letter.  It is also given to local stores to better facilitate shopping.  In addition there are a few optional items listed at the bottom. 

Classroom

  • *1 pencil bag

  • *2 boxes of Crayola crayons (24 regular color)

  • *2 yellow highlighters

  • *2 Pink Pearl erasers

  • *4 LARGE glue sticks (Elmer's works best)

  • *1 metal scissors with plastic handle (Fiskars works great)

  • *1 backpack (no wheels)

  • 24 #2 pencils (Papermate sharpen best)

  • 2 large boxes of Kleenexes

  • 1 regular size bottle of Germ X

  • 1 container of disinfecting wipes (Clorox or Lysol)

  • 1 refill package of baby wipes

  • 1 Black EXPO dry erase marker

  • 1 large pkg. Of individually wrapped candy

  • 1 pkg. Of 100 (3x5) white note cards (no lines)

  • 1 box quart size Ziploc bags

  • $2.00 for notebooks and folders ( I will purchase these at a discounted price so you do not have to look for specific colors/types)

  • $10.00 for Student Activity fee (planner/headphones)

MUSIC-1 large glue stick or 2 small glue sticks

P.E.-No requested supplies

Please put your name on anything with an * beside it and all other supplies will be shared in the classroom.

Art-Request for supplies may come at a later date

*Oversized shirt for art projects sealed inside a ziploc bag labeled with student name
1 bottle of liquid glue
* 1 box of 8 count crayola crayons (to easily replace frequently used colors)
*1 extra pink pearl eraser
1 extra pkg. blank notecards
1 black sharpie marker
