Students at Perryville Elementary School have big hearts and love to help others! The school recently raised over $9,000 for children in need by participating in the St. Jude Mathathon.
On January 14, 2013, a ceremony was held to honor students who were chosen as Pirates To Be Proud Of for the months of November and December 2012. They were chosen for demonstrating good character in our school. At PES this means that they were being respectful, responsible and ready to learn.
Through the support of the P.I.E. orginization, PES has recently renovated its stage. The idea to renovate came from the Pirate Pride Initiative.
