We'll serve your family even before your baby is born.
Whether you’re expecting your first child or have an infant or toddler at home, Parents As Teachers is ready to serve your family. This program is completely free to Perry County residents, and you can register before your child is born or at any time before your child turns 3 years old.
It’s easy to enroll in Parents As Teachers at Perry County School District 32. Simply print, complete and mail back the registration form on our Web page, or use the online form which is submitted by email.
Staff members are experts in childhood development.
Parents As Teachers at Perry County School District 32 in Perryville is staffed by parent educators who have received specialized training in child development and early learning.
These educators also have professional experience working with young children and families, as well knowledge of parenting skills.
Parent educators provide timely information on child development and neuroscience research. They suggest activities which encourage language development, intellectual growth, social development and motor skills.

The goal of PAT is to help all parents give their children the best possible start in life.
PAT families receive, at no charge:
•Personalized home visits by a certified parent educator who helps parents understand child development, important milestones and ways to encourage learning.
