  • Silver Dagger players to present 'The Jungle Book'

    The Perryville High School Silver Dagger Drama Club will present Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book," this weekend in the Old Senior High Performing Arts Auditorium. Tickets are $6 at the door. Performances will be at 7 pm on Thursday, Nov. 8, Friday, Nov. 9, and Saturday, Nov. 10.

  • Parents invited to informational session on social anxiety, respect and dignity

    On Thursday, Nov. 1, students and parents at District 32 will have the opportunity to hear from a nationally-known speaker for a program focusing on social anxiety, respect and dignity. Perryville High School students will attend the assemblies in the morning, and Perry County Middle School students will attend the assemblies in the afternoon. ALL District 32 parents are invited to the Parent Assembly to be held from 6 to 7 pm tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 1 in the Perryville High School Library. We encourage parents of students in Grades K-12 to join this information session about the social issues facing our children and schools today.

  • Girls attend STEM event at Missouri S&T

    Thirty young women from Perry County School District 32 spent a day at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, experiencing workshops led by professionals who have careers in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

    The BLAST Council at Perry County Middle School spent the day volunteering at SEMO Food Bank in Sikeston on Oct. 12.

  • Board recognizes hero driver

    The Board of Education recognized a District 32 bus driver as a hero a Wednesday night’s meeting. Mrs. Sandy Sauer was presented a certificate of appreciation for her lifesaving efforts on the morning of Sept. 9, when she saved a choking student on her bus by administering the Heimlich maneuver.
