Bair Hopkins, 9, a fourth-grader in Lacey Amschler's class at Perryville Elementary School, broke the school record by earning 905.2 AR points.
Drew Elder, the lone representative of the Perryville High School Pirate golf team —as a freshman and playing in his first year of high school competition in that sport —finished in an eight-way tie for 65th place at the Class 3 State Championship Golf Tournament at Sedalia Country Club in Sedalia, Missouri on May 15. Five D32 retiring employees were celebrated for their careers at D32 during the annual end-of-year banquet on May 19. Longevity awards were also presented to those celebrating anniversaries with the district.
The Profiles in Excellence awards ceremony was held May 19 at Perry Park Center, where Perryville High School's Class of 2017 received more than $750,000 in scholarships, from local organizations and businesses, colleges and universities, and the A+ Program.

Current make-up days
At this time, we are making up the following day:
- Thursday, March 16 for the snow day on Jan. 13
All three days missed for the tornado (March 1-3) have been forgiven, and will NOT have to be made up.
Students will not be in classes on
- March 17 for spring break
- March 20, which is a professional development day
- April 14 & 17, for Easter break
Any further school days missed to due inclement weather would be made up according to DESE rules and District policy.
