Welcome Middle School Families!

My name is Stacey Versemann and I am excited for my first year as the assistant principal at PCMS! While I am new to administration, I have been in education for 12 years teaching with my last 8 years at PCSD #32.

I was born and raised in Perryville and graduated from Perry County School District in 2005. I attended the University of Missouri and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Special Education in 2009 and a master’s in Early Childhood Special Education in 2010. I have since furthered my education through Southeast Missouri University earning an additional master's in Administration in 2017. Currently, I am working on my Educational Doctorate through Southern Illinois University and plan to graduate in 2024.

On a more personal note, outside of work, my husband and I are busy with four children ranging in ages from Kindergarten through 5th grade. We stay busy with the farm, sporting events, and other activities within the community.

I am excited for this coming school year with the incoming 6th graders and returning 7th and 8th graders. I look forward to working with Mr. Cowell and the staff to maintain a positive and safe learning environment. I cannot wait to welcome the students back to school and greatly look forward to celebrating all of their wonderful successes throughout the year!
