STUDENT AND PARENT TECHNICAL SUPPORT

The Perry County School District #32 understands that sending a Chromebook home may present additional technical challenges for students and parents. The technology department will provide limited remote support using a help desk request form.  District #32 will attempt to provide “best effort” support.

Please Review our technical support Self Help (FAQ) document and website to try and solve any issues on your own.

For technical support on a device, please have the student discuss the matter with their Homeroom/ Community Time teacher or turn it into the librarian of the grade-level building of the student.

Our ability to support technology at home may vary depending on many factors such as:

  • Knowledge of the caller and their understanding of district technology resources

  • Caller's technical knowledge and experience, including their understanding and access to their home network

District Technology staff will provide remote assistance and support. Our tech support team is not available to go offsite to address technology issues. The advice given by our Technology Support members should be followed at your own risk. The District will not take responsibility for the correct operation, maintenance, or support of personal networks and personal devices.

Questions concerning the use of applications and resources assigned by teachers should be directed back to the teacher or staff member who assigned the work.
