Perryville Area Career and Technology Center opened its doors to eighth-grade students this past week.
"For Eighth grade Career Exploration, we had 408 students that attended from PCSD 32 and 6 other surrounding schools," said Sherry Stief, counselor at PACTC. "Students interacted with our CTC instructors and participated in activities related to each program offered. Students also gained knowledge about educational opportunities available to them during 11th and 12th grade. Most importantly, they gathered information to help them in discovering a career area that they are passionate about."
