District 32 buses will run Emergency Routes this afternoon (Thursday, 3/5) due to ongoing flood concerns.
Highway F is now passable, so Route 14 will be on its normal emergency route.

District 32 cafeterias will be celebrating all next week with some special breakfast items.
Monday: 🆕 Breakfast bowl of tater tots with cheese and eggs
Tuesday: Biscuits and gravy
Wednesday: Pancake bites
Thursday: 🆕 Trix French toast
Friday: 🆕 Rise 'n shine strawberry oats
Each meal will include fruit and milk. 🍌🍎🥛

District 32 will host a Public Q&A at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 in the Middle School gymnasium. Community members are invited to come learn more about the Perryville High School recovery project and Prop K.I.D.S. before it goes on the ballot during the April 7 election.

Arlene Breig is the administrative assistant at the Perryville Area Career & Technology Center. Her nominator said: "Mrs. Breig is the glue of the Perryville Area Career & Technology Center. She is a trusted 'go to' person for every staff member, and demonstrates expertise on just about every aspect of school operations. Arlene leads with kindness and humility, and makes our Career Center better every day!"
Patricia Taylor is a bus driver with District 32 Transportation. Her nominator said, "Pat is such a gift to our team. Whenever we need an extra set of hands for the daytime runs, she’s right there without hesitation. And her team spirit doesn’t stop there—her Friday baked goodies have become a highlight for all the drivers. We’re truly lucky to have her!"

We are incredibly thankful for the hard work of our maintenance staff, local snow removal crews, and everyone who helped prepare our roads, sidewalks, and buildings to ensure a safe return for students and staff.

There will be no school and Little Pirates and Adventure Club are also canceled. Coaches will reach out to advise on any practices for tomorrow, and Saturday’s Mayor’s Cup games are scheduled to proceed as planned. Campus will be open tomorrow for any staff who are scheduled to work snow days.
Our maintenance staff has been working tirelessly to get everything ready to welcome students back, and we are hopeful that the additional time over the weekend will allow us to have all facilities fully prepared to return on Monday.
