Students in Grades 3-5 at Perryville Elementary School enjoyed a Mark Twain voting breakfast party in the PES library on March 6. Pictured are (from left) Delilah Adams, Rylee Valleroy, Gracelynn Grein, Lacey Dreyer, Calie Cattoor, Kylie Johnson, and Melinda Ajanel-Pastor. Librarian Susan Schremp said that to be eligible to participate, students had to read at least four of the Mark Twain nominees from the 2022-2023 school year. Their votes will join other students' votes from across the state to determine the winner, which will be announced in April.
