John Cross, a mathematics instructor at Perryville High School, has earned his doctorate degree.
Dr. Cross earned a doctorate of philosophy degree in general psychology with an emphasis in cognition and instruction from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz.
“I am currently in my 21st year at PHS, and it is my 25th year of teaching,” Dr. Cross said. “I am currently teaching Math Analysis, Algebra 3 and Trigonometry (Pre-Calculus), and Calculus. I am currently co-sponsoring the National Honor Society, and the sophomore class. I also hold the position of class sponsor liaison.”
He is also a member of the District 32 Professional Development Committee representing PHS, currently serves as president of the committee.
