The Perryville Area Career and Technology Center recently celebrated its 2026 scholarship recipients. Now in its second year, the PACTC Scholarship Program connects graduating students with scholarships opportunities made possible through generous donations from local organizations and individuals.
This year, 24 graduating PACTC students received $10,000 in total scholarships from 15 sponsors. This was roughly double the amount of scholarships awarded in the program's first year. These scholarships help students as they move on to their next step educationally or in the workforce.
This year’s recipients were:
Nick Wortmann and Lucas Wright - $1,000 from Hi-Way Rodders ($500 each)
Lucas Wright - $250 from Premium Solutions
Nick Weibrecht - $500 from Robinson Companies
Chase Thompson - $500 from the Randy (Monier) Choate Memorial Scholarship
Sam Koishor - $500 from Randy (Monier) Choate Memorial Scholarship
Sawyer Bauman - $250 from anonymous donor
Clayton Bauwens - $250 from Naeger Family Group
Sam Koishor - $250 form Nager Family Group
Ashli Berkheimer - $250 from Altenburg Machine & Fabrication Inc.
